It would be impossible for me to articulate the importance of the mental aspect of golf better than the above icons of the game. The mental component of golf is quickly acknowledged, but the vast majority of golfers spend very little time working to improve it. It is well known that the highest level competitors use mental coaches so why shouldn't the rest of us?  

For the last ten years I have worked as a clinical psychologist with the military. While much of that time has been helping service members deal with problems, quite a bit of that time has been focused on performance improvement. The same type of performance improvement that we all look for on the golf course. Mental improvement is achievable by golfers at any level.  

There are two ways to benefit from a session with me as your golf mental coach. The first is addressing specific problems you might face on the golf course. Whether it is first-tee jitters, recovering from a bad shot or hole, or keeping your focus through an entire round. The second benefit comes from learning to sustain concentration and focus throughout a round so that you play your best possible golf.
